As you can see, the blog is undergoing some renovation. There were some aspects of the blog that needed updating and I figured while I was tackling those updates, I would update the look and feel of the blog as well. I am not settled on the look yet, so it may still change.
One of the changes is the tagline has been removed. I am not longer living with two ill parents, so that needed to be retired. I also changed how the pages are displayed a bit and added some new pages. The blog posts will now be the ‘home’ page for the blog instead of the about page. I also removed the sticky post that was an update on my parents conditions. The new pages I have added are pages to talk about the blog, myself and my parents. The blog gains exposure every time I create a new post and that brings brand new readers to the blog. It has become more than just the friends and family blog that it started out as, so letting those new to the blog know who I am and what this is all about is important.
I will also be added new categories. I don’t know how many yet or when I will be adding them, but when you see them pop up in the list on the right side of the blog, they should be pretty self explanatory.
These changes are really more for myself as I transition out of one phase of my life and into a new one. I hope that the changes do not present any issues for the readers and I would love feedback on what you think.
Oh, one thing to watch for is the image header for this blog. It is actually several images that are randomly selected when you visit the site, so you will likely see different header photos as you continue to visit pages on this site. More photos will be added to the collection over time.

Changes can be therapeutic. I like the update to the blog!
Although I don’t always handle change well, I recognize that it is necessary and will happen regardless how much I like it. Thanks for the comment.
Love the phot of Larry and Diana with your parents.
I love all those photos 🙂 There is a bit of a story behind each one and your comment made me think of an idea for a blog post!
