Just so the people following this blog know, even though my parents are now both gone, I am still here. I will continue to write to this blog. For a while the posts will be letters to my parents. Letting them know how things are and how we are all doing. In time, the need to talk to them in this manner may subside and the blog can take on a different feel.
I appreciate all the people that have kept up with my life and my folks lives through this blog. I appreciate all the wonderful comments that I have received. Although my mother had intended to someday read the blogs, she never got around to it. I don’t feel too bad about that. Everything that was in the blogs, she was already living through and all my feeling portrayed in the blogs were expressed in person.
Some of my family may never read these blogs. I can understand that it might be too painful to relive some of these memories so if they choose not to read it then that is okay by me.
I think it’s wise to keep blogging. Whatever forum you choose to write, it’s good for you to have this outlet to help you grieve and eventually heal.
