scan0001We will have an open casket visitation from 5 – 7 pm on Tuesday September 9, 2014 where you can pay your respect and say your good bye to this amazing woman.  The location is as follows:

Allen Brothers Mortuary – San Marcos Chapel
435 N. Twin Oaks Valley Road
San Marcos, CA 92069
(760) 744-4522

The funeral service will be simple and will take place at 11 am on Wednesday September 10, 2014.  We will have a period of time during the service for people to say a few words to share your thoughts and feeling about my parents.  Dad will be in the casket with my mother.  We will have a reception following the service.  There will be no grave side service, but I will follow up in the near future with a picture of where they have been laid to rest and will share the plot information for anyone wishing to visit them in the future.  The location of the funeral service will be:

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
1250 Borden Road
San Marcos, CA 92069

After the service and reception, we will come back home and will open the house to anyone wishing to hang out longer and share in the celebration of my parents lives.

I realize that there are people who are out of town that will not be able to make it to the funeral.  We will miss you and know that it is okay that you are unable to attend.  Mom knows you are thinking about her regardless where you happen to be.

Finally, in lieu of flower, please consider a donation to the wonderful folks helping cancer patients feel great again with new hair:

  1. My broken heart-felt sympathy to all of the family. I wish I could be there. However, I’m so grateful that I got to see your Mom recently. Blessings to all of you at this sad time. Betty Fischer

  2. My condolences to your family and friends on this sad occasion. I’m now remembering those times when both your mom and mine were very accommodating and that they both had open door policies. That’s one of many things that they had going for them.

    Peace, out.
