I know this is short notice (only a week and a half), but mom wants to get this done soon. We realize that many of you will not be able to make it to this gathering and we will miss not having you here, but we understand. Call that day if you like and say hi or just take a moment and think about dad. He was barely okay with this amount of fuss over him 🙂

I truly wish the outcome were different, I remember coming to your house on Redwing Way and talking to both your dad and mom, they were great with my mother, and their friendship was very solid. I loved coming to you house to visit the whole family and chatting. You all are good people, I hope you’re bearing up well under the circumstances. Tell your mom I’m thinking of her, and hope she heals from all this, she deserves it. It’s a shame I live here in Oceanside without any reliable transportation to your parents place, it’s too far from the transit routes to get there.
