This is going to be really short as we have to leave in a few minutes for mom’s final chemo treatment.  In the next couple weeks she will have a PET scan and an MRI done to determine where we are at with her cancer and if further treatments are going to be in order.

Mom is doing very well still.  She has good days and some bad days, but that is less physical and more emotional.  When we go to chemo we will see if she has dropped anymore weight.  I am dreading see the 100 number come up.  Poor thing is just so skinny but eats all the time.  When I got up at 3am this morning to see if she took her pre-chemo pills, she was eating a bowl of sliced banana with sugar and milk.

I need to do a post soon to talk about how mom has been feeling emotionally.  The past couple of days has been a little bit rough on her.  She fell on monday morning and thankfully didn’t do any damage, but that incident has put her into a bit of a down mood.  There is a bit more to that story that I will have to share, as it relates to me and my failing to realize she had fallen.

Her white cell counts have been all over the place since the last trip to the hospital so we are hoping that things have leveled out and she will be able to have chemo today.

Bye for now…
